Mrs. Howe’s Bed & Breakfast is located in a beautifully maintained home built in 1923 by Harry and Edith Howe.  The home features photos and stories of the history of Port Orchard and surrounding area, and reflects a great time in Kitsap County’s history.

Mrs. Howe's Bed & Breakfast is located in the historic district of

downtown Port Orchard, Washington.


The Harry Howe Home was built in 1923 by Harry and Edith Howe. In the 1923 photo on the left, Harry is standing at the top of the stairs.


The Howe family established early businesses and they held various positions in city government. The family donated the Howe Farm to our community that is now cared for and maintained by Kitsap County.
